Burt Brill & Cardens support YMCA DownsLink Group Room Sponsor Campaign

Burt Brill & Cardens are pleased to pledge our support for the YMCA DownsLink Group Room Sponsor Campaign by sponsoring a room for a young person for a whole year. Our sponsorship will provide a homeless needing accommodation with a safe place to stay, counselling services, and education.

The YMCA DownsLink Group is a collaboration of multiple local YMCA charities along the South Coast. The group assists young people, children, and families with housing, counselling, and employment with the goal of creating a positive change in their lives.

Their latest ‘Room Sponsor’ campaign helps provide vulnerable young people with access to safe accommodation. The campaign also provides counselling and opportunities for further education and employment with the hope to turn their life around.

Burt Brill & Cardens had the pleasure of welcoming Sam Hart and James Gaydon of the YMCA DownsLink Group to our offices last week to celebrate our sponsorship. Sam and James talked us through their housing projects across Sussex, and how our sponsorship will make a difference.

Ensuring a positive future for at least one vulnerable individual is one step forward in preventing youth homelessness.
